Mathematical models, what are they and what are they for?
In this informative talk we will discuss mathematical models, showing the beauty that exists in the mathematical development of some of them and their practical use in a wide range of applications in real life. Mathematical models are not a recent topic. In order to show this point, we will see models developed centuries ago (by some of the greatest mathematicians in history), as well as models developed in present days.
